It’s been a long term love affair — with the South Carolina coast that is! From my earliest visits to Myrtle Beach on family vacations, I’ve returned to the Grand Strand time and time again – high school trips when the Pavilion was the center of our social life to college breaks with nights spent at Mother Fletchers & lazy days recuperating on the beach and back around to family vacations with my own children! Myrtle Beach set the standard that we measured all other beach vacations by. Miles of beautiful sand, great shopping, wonderful restaurants, exciting entertainment, world-class golf courses, mild winters and beautiful summers, what’s not to love?
Between my husband and I, we’ve lived and traveled to the far reaches of this country, but in 2005 when we decided it was time for a reassessment and a slowing down of the overly busy lives we and our kids were living, it was this Myrtle Beach area that called to us. Nearly seven years later we know it was one of the best decisions we ever made.
As a former Vice President of Commercial/Multi-Family Real Estate with AssetPlus Corporation, I played an integral part in the acquisition of contracts for buyers, sellers and investors both nationally and internationally and oversaw large portfolios for private investors, R.E. I.T.’s and the R.T.C.
When my second child was born, I decided to change career paths so that I could spend more time at home. My husband and I operated a real estate magazine and a website design and marketing company serving the real estate industry. I was also actively engaged as both a board member and officer for many community and school organizations.
Recently, with my children growing older, spreading their wings and leaving home, it felt like the perfect time to jump back into a real estate career with both feet! As a residential sales agent, I feel I can offer clients a culmination of all my real estate and real life experiences.
